MBB: Wildcats Defend Homecourt Against Rival Keuka

MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men's basketball team won a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division game against Keuka College on Saturday. The Wildcats started quickly building up to an 18 point lead in the first half. They went into the second half up 48-32 and would control the rest of the game. The final score of the game was 93-72. The Wildcats had five players in double figures including a pair of double-doubles by Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) and Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.).

NOTABLES:

• Josh Gregory lead the charge for the Wildcats with a 24 point, 12 rebound double-double.
• Caleb Canty contributed his own double-double scoring 15 points and adding 12 assists.
•  The Wildcats had three other players with double-figure points, Jesse O'Dell (Rotterdam, N.Y.) with 12 points, LJ Randle (Rotterdam, N.Y.) with 11 points, and Keivonn Banks (Rochester, N.Y.) who had 10 points.
• James Barnes was the leading scorer for the Wolves amassing 21 points and a pair of rebounds and steals.
• Nana Oteng and Nolan Ivey both scored 12 points for Keuka College.
• The Wildcats 57.9% from the field while shooting 50% from 3 and outrebounding Keuka 41-23.

The Wildcats will have a quick turnaround as they will take on Hamilton College Sunday, January 26th in the Campus Center gym. The game is scheduled for a 5:00 start.
