MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men's basketball team won in dominant fashion against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Penn State Berks. The Wildcats would score 10 unanswered points to open the game holding Berks scoreless for almost seven minutes. The Wildcats built a lead as high as 31 in the first half going into the break leading 43-15. SUNY Poly would go on to win by a score of 94-63.

NOTABLES:

• Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.) Led the charge for the Wildcats with a game-high 23 points on 6-11 shooting from the field and 2-5 from three-point range. He also tallied two boards, three assists, and two steals.
• Averi Parker (Harlem, N.Y.) had his best scoring game as a Wildcat dropping 14 points. He went 6-9 from the field. Averi also had nine rebounds, six assists, and a steal.
• Josh Ernst (Rome, N.Y.) scored his first career point today and ended with a total of 13 for SUNY Poly. He also tallied eight boards and three assists.
• RJ Dixon led the Nittany Lions with 18 points. He also added three rebounds, five assists, four steals, and a pair of blocks.
• The Wildcats overpowered the Nittany Lions in field goal percentage, free throw percentage, three-point percentage, assists, and rebounds.

The Wildcats win their last game going into the December break. They will come back Sunday, December 29th at the Saint John Fisher Holiday Tournament. The Cats will take on host St. John Fisher at 8:00 PM on Sunday.
