Auburndale, Fl.- The SUNY Poly men's baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader in Florida against Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Wildcats dropped the first game 11-0, before dropping the second game of the doubleheader 6-5.

GAME 1:

In the first game, the Wildcats struggled to swing the bats, recording only five hits over seven innings and striking out seven times. GAME 2:

In the second game of the doubleheader, the Wildcats received a strong start from Ryan Secor, who only allowed one earned run over three innings to keep the Wildcats in the game. After being down 5-0, the Wildcats answered with three runs in the top of the 4th on a Will Orlando ground out, and a Kurt Johnson double. After giving up a run in the 6th to make it 6-3, the Wildcats would score two runs in the top of the 7th, but it wouldn't be enough as Eau Claire would hold on for the 6-5 victory. Ryan Pelton and Ethan Merone had two hits each for the Wildcats.
