WXC: Wildcats Conclude Season at NCAA Regional Championships.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women's Cross-Country team traveled to Genesee Valley State Park on Saturday to compete in the 6k NCAA Division III Niagara Region Cross Country Championships. The University of Rochester was the host institution for the event. SUNY Geneseo would win the event with a team score of 18 points. New York University would finish in second place with a team score of 79, and Ithaca would finish in third place with a team score of 155 points.

SUNY Geneseo's Kathleen McCarey would have the top time of the day, finishing the 6k race in 21:56.5.

The top time of the day for the Wildcats would come from Lauren Phetteplace, who would finish the 6k in 27:01.4. The Wildcats would not place as a team due to only having four runners competing in the race. The NCAA Regionals ended the season for the Wildcats, who competed in nine total events.
