CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's cross country team traveled to Hamilton College on Saturday to participate in the 2022 Hamilton Cross Country Invitational. The Wildcats placed 7th in the women's 5K race with 176 points. Hamilton College's Clara Fu won the race. Hamilton also placed first as a team.
The Hamilton College Continentals dominated the race with their top five runners finishing in the top five for a perfect score of 15. Clara Fu led the pack for the Continentals, winning the race with a time of 19:05.9.
Lauren Phetteplace was the Wildcat's top runner. The senior finished the race in 25th place with a time of 21:22.7. Ruchika Kilaparty ran the 5K in 24:23.2 placing 37th.
