WXC: Wildcats Finish in 4th Place at Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational 5k.

CAZENOVIA, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly women's cross country team finished in 4th place on Saturday morning at the Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational 5k race at Cazenovia College. The Wildcats placed two runners in the top 20 for a team score of 75. Hartwick College would win the invitational with a team score of 42.

Wesley Burkit from Paul Smith's College would take have the fastest time in the 5k event, finishing in 22:03.9.

The Wildcats would have five total runners compete in the 5k race. Lauren Phetteplace, Ruchika Kilaparty, Rosalea Claeys, Lauriana Beras-Burgos, and Jennifer Walike all would score for the Wildcats. Phetteplace would be the lone Wildcats to finish in the top ten, finishing the race in 23:50.0.
