WXC: Third Place Finish by Phetteplace Helps Wildcats Place 4th at NAC Championship Meet.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's cross country team placed fourth at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship race on Saturday. The Wildcats scored 120 points, led by a third-place finish by Lauren Phetteplace. The SUNY Delhi Broncos won the NAC Championship with a score of 46. 

 

Lauren Phetteplace was the Wildcats top finisher with a time of 23:08.8. She placed third in the race to earn a NAC First Team All-Conference Award. The race was won by Husson's Ava Dowling. She finished the 5K course in 21:48.5 which was more than a minute faster than the second-place finisher. SUNY Delhi earned the win with 46 points. They placed their top five in 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th to earn their second NAC Title.

The Wildcats will compete in the NCAA Niagra Regional Race on November 13th at the Warplane Museum in Geneseo, N.Y. The regional will be hosted by SUNY Geneseo.
