MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball team (6-11, 3-2 NEAC) fell to Morrisville State (13-3, 4-1 NEAC) on Tuesday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) matchup. The Wildcat attack was stagnant registering just 18 kills in the match, tying a season low. On the other side of the net, the Mustangs were firing on all cylinders hitting .213 as a team with 45 kills.

Megan Will (Remsen, N.Y.) was the Wildcats leader on the attack. The junior had a team high seven kills on 14 attacks (.429) and had three digs. No other Wildcat had more than four kills.

The Mustang's 6-2 system seemed to have the Wildcats scrambling to figure out where the attack was coming from. The Wildcats, who have been trending upward in the block department, had just three total blocks; the lowest total in their last five matches. The Mustangs two primary setters, Helena Hanes and Kim Dinkleman, recorded 13 and 20 assists respectively.

Helana Hanes, the secondary setter for the Mustangs, also had a match high 13 kills on 28 swings. Amelia Baratier had 12 kills on 35 swings.

The Wildcats are now 3-2 in the NEAC and 2-2 in the North Division. They currently sit in fourth place.
