WVB: Ryenn Smith Named NEAC Player of the Week After a Career Weekend.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - SUNY Poly's Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 24th to the 30th. An excerpt from the NEAC press release about Smith's selection can be found below.

"Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after a sensational week for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats. The senior totaled 62 kills and 56 digs while averaging 4.9 points through 13 sets during a 2-1 week for the Wildcats.  Smith averaged 4.77 kills per set and nearly 21 kills per match while tallying a double-double during all three matches.  That included back-to-back 22-kill outings during a tri-match at Alfred Saturday, where she finished with 22 kills, 19 digs and two assisted blocks in a 3-2 win over the hosts before tallying 22 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 triumph over Oswego State.  The Wildcats finished the regular season 20-11 overall."
