WVB: Wildcats Earn Home Court Win 3-0 Win Over Bard.

MARCY, N.Y. – The Wildcats hosted Bard on Tuesday evening in a non-conference match. The Wildcats took the raptors down with ease beating them in three sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-15. The Wildcats hit .228 as a team and had eight total blocks in the match.

Seniors Emma Larson (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) led the charge for the Wildcats. Larson led all hitters with 12 kills on 23 swings in the match. Larson also added five digs, two block assists, and a solo block to her stat line. Smith had 11 kills on 32 swings and had a match high 13 digs and a service ace.

Sydney Johnson (Nine Mile Falls, W.A.) had a nice match overall. She was perfect on the attack; three kills on three swings. Johnson also had 27 assists in the match; bringing her season total to 384, and had nine digs.

The Wildcats are now 7-6 overall heading into a NEAC Crossover weekend in Abington Pennsylvania where they will face St. Elizabeth, Penn St. Abington, and Bryn Athyn. The Wildcats first match is on Saturday against St. Elizabeth at 2:00 PM.
