WSOC: Wildcat Offense Struggles in 5-0 Loss to Oneonta.

ONEONTA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team lost to Oneonta 5-0 on Tuesday in a non-conference game. The game was tight through one half of play with the Red Dragons leading by just one goal. Oneonta put their foot on the gas in the second half, scoring four goals to put the game away.

NOTABLES:

  • Honesty Corchoran (Wingdale, N.Y.) had a career high 15 saves in the game. The freshman allowed five goals on 20 shots faced.
  • The Wildcats managed just one shot on goal in the game.
  • Jessica Downin led Oneonta with two of her teams five goals.
  • Megan Castrogiovanni, Kelsie Moinzadeh, and Julie Steinhauer each scored one goal in the game for Oneonta.

The Wildcats return to the friendly confines of Wildcat Field this weekend. The team will host NEAC foe Gallaudet University on Saturday, October 6th at 12:00 PM.
