WSOC: Wildcats See First Loss of The Season.

The SUNY Poly women's soccer team saw their first loss of the season while on the road to Alfred State Wednesday night 0-1.

Senior McKenna Hungerford led the Wildcats with 4 shots on goal. Brittany Watterbury, Alicia Wittman, Meral Evke, and Shannon Harrison also had shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Angela Bartlett came up with 7 saves for the Wildcats during the match.

 

Melissa Minetti scored the lone goal of the game for the Pioneers after knocking in a cross from Kylie Newman.  The Pioneers held a 12 to 8 shot advantage in the game. Allison Danielak made 8 saves for the Pioneers in tonight's contest.

 

The Wildcats will host MCLA Tuesday September 19th at the Wildcat Field House. The contest is set to begin at 6:00pm.
