GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly Goalkeeper Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third consecutive week. An excerpt from the NEAC press release about Bartlett's selection can be found below.

"Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y.) has been chosen as the NEAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third straight time after another superb week for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats. The junior goalie went 3-0 between the pipes last week, which included two shutout victories against NEAC opponents.  Bartlett made seven crucial saves to preserve a 1-0 conference victory over Keuka College Saturday, before following that up with another six saves during a 2-0 victory over Wells Sunday.  Bartlett also made four big stops in a 3-2 win over local nonconference foe Utica Wednesday, leaving her with 17 saves and a .895 save percentage while facing 19 shots on the week.  Bartlett remains undefeated in goal this season at 6-0-1 while leading the NEAC in goals-against average (0.62), save percentage (.881) and shutouts (5)."
