WSOC: Wildcats Fall to Canton in 2-1 Overtime Loss. Waterbury Scores Her Fourth Goal in Two Games.

CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team traveled to SUNY Canton on Thursday to square off with the Roos in a non-conference match-up. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, but the Wildcats were inched out by a goal seven minutes into the first overtime by Canton Aliza Armstrong to give the Roos the Victory.

 For the Wildcats, sophomore midfielder Brittany Waterbury (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen HS) scored her sixth goal of the season off of a free kick at the 76 minute mark. The goal was her forth in two games after her hat trick performance against St. Elizabeth.

The loss puts the Wildcats record at 5-2-1 on the season. The team will be back in action on Saturday when they host NEAC opponent Penn State Abington. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 PM start. Live stats will be available for the game HERE
