WLAX: Wildcats Drop First NAC Game of the Season to Canton.

CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team lost their third game of the season on Saturday 14-3 to SUNY Canton. The game was the first North Atlantic Conference game of the season for the Wildcats. Canton scored the first five goals of the game and never looked back. They led 8-2 at the half and ended on a 6-2 run to earn their first conference game of the season. 

 

NOTABLE POLY PERFORMANCES: 

  • Molly Burdick had two points on a goal and an assist. She also had a team-high four caused turnovers. 

  • Rachel Salmon also had a pair of points on a goal and an assist.

  • Madison Bastien had a goal and three groundballs. 

  • Alycia Lugo made 18 saves in goal for the Wildcats. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will host Sage College on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM start at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field.
