WLAX: Prosinski Earns Record Breaking Fourth Consecutive NEAC Player of the Week Selection.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its NEAC student-athletes of the week for women's lacrosse on Monday. SUNY Poly's Kayla Prosinski was selected as the NEAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week after having yet another fantastic week for the Wildcats. Kayla is the first player at SUNY Poly to be named the NEAC Player of the Week four consecutive times.

Kayla Prosinski continued her dominance this week for the Wildcats. The junior led her team to two NEAC wins including a thrilling one-goal win over Wells on Sunday where Prosinski scored the game-winning goal with just 32 seconds left on the clock. This week Prosinski averaged nine points per game with 18 total points on 16 goals and two assists. She also led the Wildcats with 17 ground balls, 14 draw controls, and nine caused turnovers in the two NEAC wins. This week, Prosinski became the first Wildcat to ever surpass 100 points in a single season. Kayla is currently ranked first in the NCAA DIII (as of 4/15) with 9.25 points per game and is second in NCAA DIII (as of 4/15) with 6.75 points per game. She is currently leading the NEAC in points by 31, goals by 25, ground balls by 24, and caused turnovers by nine. She is tied for first in the NEAC with 30 assists and is fifth in the NEAC with 77.
