MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team earned a big win in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play on Saturday over Cazenovia College. The final score was 18-7. The Wildcats got out to a great start, scoring 14 goals in the first half while holding Cazenovia to just three goals. The Wildcats took that lead and held on to it in the second half to earn their sixth consecutive NEAC win of the season.
NOTABLES:

Samantha Dayter (Cohoes, N.Y.) had a game-high nine points on six goals and three assists. She also had four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.) had six goals in the game bringing her season points total to a NEAC best 101. In the game, she became the first SUNY Poly women's lacrosse player to reach the 100 point mark in a single season. The previous best was 86 points.

Emily Somes (Elbridge, N.Y.) had four points on three goals and an assist. She also caused a turnover and scooped up a ground ball.

Jenny Maxam (Clinton, N.Y.) scored two goals and had an assist in the game. Her career points total is now just seven short of 100.

Alycia Lugo (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) improved to 8-3 in goal for the Wildcats. She made 11 saves in the game to bring her season total to 82.

Breana Howe had a team-high three points on three goals. She also had a caused turnover and a goal for Cazenovia.

Michaela Breeze had two goals, a team-high five ground balls, and a team-high eight draw controls for Cazenovia.

Amanda Drazek was the losing goalkeeper. She is now 3-5 this season. She made six saves for Cazenovia.
