WLAX: Krysta Beha Named NEAC Offensive Player of the Week.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly women's lacrosse player Krysta Beha (Marcy, N.Y.) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week of April 4th - April 10th. An excerpt from the NEAC press release can be found below.

"Krysta Beha (Marcy, N.Y.) has been chosen as the NEAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after another phenomenal week for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats. Beha, last week's NEAC Defensive Player of the Week, led the Wildcats to another set of conference wins behind nine goals, six assists, seven draw controls and eight ground balls.  The junior midfielder tallied five goals, an assist, three draw controls and five ground balls in a 20-4 victory over Penn State Abington Saturday, where she also became the first player in program history to reach 100 career goals.  She followed up that historic day by scoring four more goals, dishing out five assists, controlling four draws and scooping up three ground balls in a 16-3 win over Bryn Athyn Sunday.  All 12 of Beha's shots for the week were on goal and she also caused a turnover in each contest to cap the excellent all-around performance. Beha is currently second in the conference in both goals (32) and assists (15) for the Wildcats, who are now 4-0 in NEAC play and 7-1 overall.
