WLAX: Krysta Beha Named NEAC Defensive Player of the Week.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly women's lacrosse player Krysta Beha (Marcy, N.Y.) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 28th - April 3rd. An excerpt from the NEAC press release can be found below. 

"Krysta Beha (Marcy, N.Y.) has been chosen as the NEAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after a terrific week for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats.  The junior midfielder racked up 14 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers during a 2-1 week for the Wildcats, which included a pair of conference wins.  Beha had game highs of seven ground balls and six caused turnovers in a 25-8 victory over Lancaster Bible Friday, where she also posted seven draw controls with six goals and a pair of assists offensively.  She followed that up with four ground balls and two caused turnovers while again adding seven draw controls in addition to four goals and five assists in a 19-0 triumph over Saint Elizabeth Saturday.  Beha is now third in the conference in caused turnovers (17), points (32), goals (23) and assists (9) for the Wildcats, who are now 5-1 overall (2-0 NEAC). "
