GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly's Tierney McGlynn (Watervliet, N.Y.)has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) women's lacrosse defensive player of the week for the week of March 7th - 13th. An excerpt from the NEAC press release can be found below.

"Tierney McGlynn (Watervliet, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after a terrific performance for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats.  McGlynn, last season's NEAC Defensive Player of the Year, picked up right where she left off during the Wildcats' 14-5 season-opening victory over Sage Saturday.  The junior caused a match-high five turnovers and also shared the contest lead with five ground balls while helping hold Sage to just 12 shots on goal.  She also tallied three draw controls to round out the outing."
