NEAC Defensive Player of the Year Tierney McGlynn (Watervliet, N.Y. / Watervliet) earned another honor on Tuesday when she was named to the ECAC Mid-Atlantic All-Region 2nd Team.
McGlynn had a tremendous year, causing the second-most turnovers in the conference with 29 and scooping up the sixth-most groundballs with 51. She started in all 15 Wildcat contests this season. She also scored 13 goals and recorded 34 draw controls on the year, which helped the Wildcats post their most wins in program history with nine, including their first-ever playoff victory.
McGlynn's ECAC selection is the first such selection in the 4-year history of the SUNY Poly Women's Lacrosse Program.
