WBB: Wildcats Score Season High 83 Points in Win Over Lesley.

UTICA, N.Y. -  The SUNY Poly women's basketball moved to 4-3 in North Atlantic Conference play with an 83-52 victory over Lesley on Saturday afternoon. Alysa Jackson and Sophia Murray led the way for the Wildcats, combining for 39 points for the Wildcats. The Wildcats received 31 points off the bench, including 7 from Rebeckah Tittle.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Wildcats offense would erupt in the first quarter, scoring 30 points to take a 30-10 lead going into the second quarter. After another strong quarter, the Wildcats would take a 46-26 lead into halftime.

It would continue to be all Wildcats in the second half, winning both quarters. The Wildcats would shoot 41.7% from the field, including 39.1% from three-point range. The efficient Wildcats offense included 11 total scorers, including all 5 starters and 6 reserves.

The Wildcats currently sit in third place in the West Division behind SUNY Canton and SUNY Cobleskill.
