WBB: Wildcats Head to Keuka to Compete in the NEAC Championship Tournament.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's basketball team will travel to Keuka on Saturday to compete in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Final Four. The Wildcats will take on Penn State Abington in the NEAC Semifinal game at 2:00 PM. The winner will advance to the NEAC Championship on Sunday.

The Wildcats have been dominant all season. They have a 21-5 overall record with a 15-1 NEAC record. Their NEAC record has them as the #1 seed in the final four. The 'Cats have been led all season by the NEAC First Team duo of Kiersten Leos (Camden, N.Y.) and Molly Burdick (Vestal, N.Y.) who have each averaged more than 15 points per game for the season.

To get to this point, the Wildcats overpowered Morrisville in the NEAC Quarterfinal game on Tuesday by a score of 73-45. The Wildcats high powered offense shot 50% from the field in the game. Penn State Abington reached the NEAC Semifinal game by handily beating St. Elizabeth 65-47 in their NEAC Quarterfinal. The Wildcats and the Nittany Lions have squared off once this season. In the game, the Wildcats earned a 19 point win at home.

The Wildcats will take on Penn State Abington on Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM on the campus of Keuka College. The winner of the game will advance to the NEAC Championship Game on Sunday to face off with the Winner of the game between #2 Keuka and #3 Gallaudet.
