WBB: Wildcats to Host NEAC Quarterfinal Game on Tuesday Against Morrisville State.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's basketball team will host the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division quarterfinal game on Tuesday, February 19th. The #2 seed Wildcats will host NEAC rival and #3 seed Morrisville State at 6:00 PM at SUNY Poly's Campus Center Gym. The game will be the third meeting between the two teams this season. The winner will advance to the NEAC Final Four this weekend.

In the last game between the Wildcats and the Mustangs, SUNY Poly earned a 66-53 win. The Wildcats got great production in the game from Kiersten Leos (Camden, N.Y.) and Molly Burdick (Vestal, N.Y.). Leos had 20 points three assists and four rebounds. Burdick had 15 points, eight rebounds, and a game high five assists. The Mustangs had three players with double digit point totals. Tori Rockefeller had 16 points, four steals, and seven rebounds. Alexis Campbell and Miranda Wright had 10 points each.

This will be the Wildcats fifth consecutive NEAC Postseason Tournament appearance. In the last four tournaments, the Wildcats have advanced to the Championship in three and have been crowned the NEAC Champions two times. The winner of the NEAC Championship receives an AQ bid to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.

Should the Wildcats advance to the NEAC Final Four, the tournament will be hosted by Keuka College on Saturday, February 23rd and Sunday, February 24th. The Semi-final games will be played at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Saturday. The NEAC Championship will tip-off at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
