WBB: Wildcats Finish Regular Season With a 50 Point Win Over Berks on Senior Day.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team celebrated senior day on Saturday against Penn State Berks. The Wildcats four seniors were honored before the game with a short ceremony. In the game, the Wildcats dominated the Nittany Lions 112-62 to finish out the regular season with a program best 23-2 record.

The Wildcats got off to a hot start, jumping out to a 14-point lead in the first quarter. The team would continue to pile on the points, finishing the first half with a 33-point lead thanks in large part to Stevie Ray's (Syracuse, N.Y.) outrageous 31 point 1st half performance. Ray would finish out her regular season career with a bang, setting her career high with 47 points and breaking the SUNY Poly record for three-pointers in a game with 11. Ray also had nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks in the game.

Senior Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) had nine points in her final regular season game. She played 21 minutes and was just a point shy of a double-double with 11 rebounds. Smith also had a block and two assists in the game.

Shelbey Kralik (Kingston, Ont.) had eight points in 23 minutes to finish out her last regular season. She shot 43 percent, had five rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block. Shelbey knocked down two three pointers for the Wildcats.

Shannon Tooley (Holland Patent, N.Y.) had five points in her final regular season game. She had four offensive rebounds and four assists in the game, both career highs for the senior.

For Berks, Deanna Daddona had a team high 19 points, three assists, three steals, and a rebound. Elise Paskowski had 13 points and seven rebounds.

The Wildcats will host the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Tournament on February 25th and 26th. The team enters the tournament with the one seed and a first round bye. The Tournament schedule will be released early next week after the conclusion of the quarterfinal games on Tuesday.
