WBB: Wildcats Roll Nitany Lions for Their 21st Win of the Season.

ABINGTON, PA. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball cruised to an easy victory on Sunday against Penn State Abington 74-50. The Wildcats shot nearly 50 percent in the game and more than doubled the number of rebounds of their opponent.

Stevie Ray (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Khristaijah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) controlled the game for the Wildcats. Ray had a double-double with a game high 26 points, a game high 12 rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Jackson had 19 points, eight rebounds, a block, and an assist. She shot 75 percent in the game.

Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) had a double-double off the bench for the Wildcats. The senior had 13 points, shot 100 percent from the field, and had 10 rebounds. Smith also had an assist and a steal in the game.

For Abington, Marah Hayes had a team high 15 points, two rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. Symantha Marrero had 14 points, three rebounds, two steals, and an assist.

The Wildcats are now 21-2 overall and 15-1 in the NEAC. The Wildcats host Lancaster Bible on Friday in what will likely be the deciding game of the season with the winner earning the right to host the NEAC Championship Tournament. The game is scheduled for a 5:00 PM start.
