SB: Leah Segerlin Named NEAC Softball Player of the Week.

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly's Leah Segurlin (Rochester, N.Y.) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Softball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 6th to March 13th.

An excerpt from the NEAC's press release announcing the Student Athletes of the Week can be found below.

Leah Segerlin (Rochester, N.Y.), a senior infielder from SUNY Polytechnic, has been named the NEAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .526 and going 8-for-19 in six games. Segerlin drove in seven runs and scored eight runs to help the Wildcats to a 3-2 record in Myrtle Beach. She drew four walks and did not strike out in any of her 19 plate appearances. Segerlin's top performance of the week came in a 9-4 win against Wentworth when she went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a walk. She finished the week with a .609 on-base percentage and a .526 slugging percentage.
