SUNYIT Softball Sends 4 Players to All-Conference Teams

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Softball Team sent 4 players to the NEAC All-Conference list on Thursday.

Three players were named to the All-NEAC 1st Team, led by Jessica Patterelli (Canastota, N.Y. / Canastota). The junior pitcher/infielder had an outstanding year at the plate, leading the conference in RBI's with 42, and finishing in the top 3 in batting average (.448) and home runs (5).

Joining Patterelli was third baseman Krista Pristera (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford), who made her second-straight All-NEAC 1st Team and is hitting .384 with 9 doubles, 2 homers, and a team-leading 38 runs scored.

Also named to the All-NEAC 1st Team was sophomore pitcher/outfielder Fallon Reinold (Holland Patent, N.Y. / Holland Patent). Reinold currently leads the Wildcats with a pitching record of 10-3, and is 5th in the NEAC with an ERA of 3.34.

At the plate, Reinold was 2nd in the conference with 12 stolen bases while scoring 34 runs as the team's leadoff hitter. Reinold has now made the 1st Team in each of her first two seasons at SUNYIT.

Finally, recording her first NEAC All-Conference selection was first baseman Erika Charbonneau (Boonville, N.Y. / Adirondack). Charbonneau had a breakout year, tallying 19 RBI's and 7 doubles while batting .348.
