Softball Doubleheader against Cobleskill Pushed Back to Tomorrow; Multiple Changes Made to Wildcat Schedule

UTICA, NY – Due to weather, today's SUNYIT softball road game against SUNY Cobleskill has been postponed until tomorrow.  Game one of the doubleheader is still scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.

With this game being moved to tomorrow, the Lady Wildcats have also moved tomorrow's doubleheader against Morrisville State to Friday, with game one starting at 3:00 pm.  Morrisville has had to twice postpone its match against SUNYIT, which was originally scheduled for March 26, due to poor field conditions.   If Morrisville's field is still not ready for play on Friday, the two teams will swap home matches, with Friday's game being moved to Utica's Greenman Field for an 11:00 am start and SUNYIT then going to Morrisville on Saturday, April 16.

Due to the on-campus construction of the $20 million field house, as well as improvements to the Wildcat softball field, all of the SUNYIT softball home games this season will be played at sites off campus, rotating between Utica College's Greenman Field and Herkimer County Community College's Generals Field.

The Lady Wildcats, who have won four straight contests, are 4-0 in the NEAC North Division and 8-3 overall.
