UTICA, NY – Due to weather, today's softball doubleheader between the SUNYIT Wildcats and the Utica College Pioneers has been postponed.  The contest has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 12 at 3:30 pm.

Although the contest was considered a home game for the Lady Wildcats, it was scheduled to be played at Utica's Greenman Field, which, along with Herkimer County Community College's Generals Field, will be the site of all SUNYIT home games this season due to both the on-campus construction of the $20 million field house and renovations to the current Wildcat Softball Field.

The Wildcats are currently 4-3 overall.  They will next be in action tomorrow when they host NEAC rival SUNY Cobleskill for a doubleheader at Greenman Field.  Game one is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.
