MXC: Wildcats Run at Geneseo’s Mike Woods Invitational.

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's cross country team competed at the Mike Woods Cross Country Invitational on Saturday afternoon, a race hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum. The Wildcats placed 25th in the race.  

 

The race was won by Lynchburg's Frank Csorba who ran the 8K in 23:50.6. His teammate Chasen Hunt finished right behind him with a time of 23:51.8.  

 

Carnegie Mellon won the team event with a score of 31. Their top five runners placed 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th. Lynchburg finished in second with a team score of 50.  

 

The Wildcats were led by Noah Breede who finished in 348th with a time of 30:31.8.

The Wildcats will race at the Hamilton College Tune-up on Saturday, October 21st. The race is scheduled to start at 11:45 AM in Clinton, N.Y.
