GANSEVOORT, N.Y.  - The SUNY Poly Wildcats have been voted 1st in the annual North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll. The Wildcats earned 112 points in the poll ending in a tie with SUNY Cobleskill. SUNY Poly's seven first place votes were the deciding factor in the poll placing them atop the ranking and in position to defend their NEAC Title from last season.

Reigning NEAC Coach of the year Bill Tylutki and the Wildcats will return nearly the entire roster from the 2015 season including their top finishers last year John Hohl (Webster, N.Y.) and Joseph Acey (Forestport, N.Y.); last season's 7th and 8th place finishers in the NEAC Championship.
