OSWEGO, N.Y. – After a hard, humid race a week ago at the 7th Annual SUNYIT Invitational, the SUNYIT Men's Cross Country Team cruised to a 7th-place finish at the Oswego State Invitational Saturday.
Pat Fannon of SUNY Cortland won the race with a time of 25:49.0, good for a blistering 5:12 mile pace.
The powerhouse Red Dragons took the top 8 spots on the day en route to 15 overall points and the win.
Derek Struck (Knox, N.Y. / Berne-Knox-Westerlo) and Dylan Parry (Voorheesville, N.Y. / Voorheesville) led the way for the Wildcats, finishing 36th and 37th at the 8k race with times of 27:57 and 28:00 respectively.
The Wildcats will have a week off before heading to Geneva, N.Y. for the Hobart Invitational on September 21st. Race time is set for noon.
