Men's Cross Country Finishes 25th out of 44 at ECAC Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, M.A. – The SUNYIT Men's Cross Country team officially finished their season on Saturday, finishing 25th out of 44 teams at the ECAC Championships hosted by Williams College in Williamstown, M.A.

The team ran an average time of 29:36 in the 8k event, with senior Robert Doss (Chittenango, N.Y. / Chittenango) leading the way at 28:58, good for 96th place out of 300 runners. Trailing him at 117th place (29:21) was sophomore Chris Wicks (Syracuse, N.Y. / Baker), and sophomore Dylan Parry (Voorheesville, N.Y. / Voorheesville), freshman Cody Russell (Glen, N.Y. / Fonda-Fultonville Central), and sophomore Steve Gagnier (Crogan, N.Y. / Beaver River Central) all finished within 18 seconds of each other (29:43, 29:56, and 30:01 respectively).

Rounding out the finishers for SUNYIT were freshmen Zachary Gural (Summit, N.Y. / Faith Christian Academy) at 32:23, and Thomas Brockway (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Burnt Hills-Balston Lake) at 33:56.
