UTICA, NY – SUNYIT senior Chris Senez (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending September 5.

Senez earned the award for his performance at the Fourth Annual SUNYIT Cross Country Invitational this past weekend, finishing the 6K race in sixth place individually out of 91 runners with a time of 21:00.6.  Senez helped the Wildcats to a second-place finish out of 12 teams.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Saturday, September 11 when they travel to participate in the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational.  The women's race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, while the men's race will begin at 11:50 am.
