UTICA, NY – SUNYIT junior Robert Doss (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) has been selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending October 17.

Doss had a spectacular performance at the Cross Country Only Conference Championships, which were held at the Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva, NY this past Saturday.  Doss ran at a 5:42 per mile pace and finished the 8 kilometer race with a time of 28:22 to claim seventh place out of 146 runners.

SUNYIT had four runners finish in the top 15 and took home second place out of 15 teams with a team total of 81 points.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Saturday, October 30 when they travel to Penn State Harrisburg for the NEAC Championships.
