UTICA, N.Y. -  The SUNY Poly men's soccer team defeated SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon 6-1 while celebrating senior day. Five different Wildcats would score in the team victory. With the win, the Wildcats move to 9-4 on the season and 6-0 in North Atlantic Conference play. The Fighting Tigers move to 4-7-1 on the season and 2-4 in North Atlantic Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The scoring would get started early on Saturday afternoon for the Wildcats when Thomas Nimineh scored an unassisted goal in the 9^th minute to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead. The junior would strike again in the 23^rd minute for his sixth goal of the season. The Wildcats would dominate in shots in the first half, controlling the ball and keeping the Fighting Tigers from recording a shot as well. The Wildcats would take a 2-0 lead going into halftime.

The Wildcats would spread the scoring in the second half with four different players recording a goal. Jael Casimir, Mo Ndow, Dominick Spychalski, and Miguel Casarrubias would all find the back of the net for the Wildcats to secure the 6-1 conference win. Connor Fancher would score a goal in the 88^th minute for the Fighting Tigers off a free kick to prevent the shutout. With the win, the Wildcats have now won six straight contests and will look to continue their strong play with three regular-season games remaining.

• Dominick Spychalski would record a goal and an assist for the Wildcats.
