MSOC: Wildcats Struggle Offensively in Final Home Game of 2018, Losing 3-0 to Castleton.

MARCY, N.Y. -  The SUNY Poly men's soccer team hosted their last home game of the 2018 season on Wednesday night. Castleton got out to an early lead with two goals in the first half of the game. The Spartans extended their lead to 3-0 in the second half which is where it would finish.

 

NOTABLES:

  • The Wildcats took 14 shots as a team, but only managed to put one shot on goal.
  • Castleton's Seraphin Iradukunda scored two of the three goals for the Spartans. The first was assisted by Jack Kingdon and the second was unassisted.
  • Jack Kingdon had three points in the game. He assisted on the first goal in the 19th minute and scored the Spartans second goal in the 28th minute.

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will take to the road for their final regular season game of the year. The game, a NEAC matchup with Morrisville, will be played on Saturday, October 27th at 3:00 PM. The game has serious playoff implications for the Wildcats who are in the hunt for a spot in the NEAC postseason play.
