Utica, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse team won big against the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers. Two Wildcats recorded hat tricks on the day, while seven players in total tallied multiple goals. The win moves the Wildcats to 5-2 on the season, and pushes their win streak to four games.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Wildcats were on the board within the first 40 seconds of the game, thanks to Michael Baker. From there, the Wildcats kept their foot on the gas, scoring six goals in a row to end the quarter ahead 6-1.
Behind additional goals from Griffin LaFleur, Ian Short, Ryan Carroll and Joshua Cargen, SUNY Poly would take a commanding 14-2 lead into halftime.
The Wildcats continued their impressive offensive showcase in the second half, scoring seven more points over the next two quarters. Sultan Taj, Mitchell Taylor and Kai Hew all got themselves in the goal column. The Wildcats would cruise to a 21-5 victory.

- Griffin LaFleur scored three goals on four shots.
- Payton Thomas tallied four points (two goals, two assists).
