MLAX: Seven Players Earn NAC All-Conference Honors.

WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference has announced the Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Award winners for the 2023 season. The awards are nominated and voted on by the coaches of the NAC and consist of five individual awards, two All-Conference Teams, and a nine-player Sportsmanship Team. The Wildcats had three players on the First Team, three players on the Second Team, and one player on the Sportsmanship Team.

 

Lyle Beeman, Luke Taylor, and Ryan Sparacino were the Wildcat's First Team All-Conference selections. Beeman had 44 points for the Wildcats this season with 27 goals and 17 assists. Taylor scored 28 goals and had 11 assists for 39 total points this season. Sparacino had 11 caused turnovers and 12 groundballs for the Wildcat defensive unit.

 

Andrew Maycock, Steven Sullivan, and Joseph VanZandt were the Wildcats who earned Second Team Honors. Maycock had a team-high 46 points with 22 goals and a team-high 24 assists. Steven Sullivan had a solid season with 19 caused turnovers and 42 groundballs. Joseph VanZandt went 9-5 in goal for the Wildcats with a 61.1 save percentage and 129 saves.

 

Michael Baker was the Wildcats Sportsmanship Team selection.
