MLAX: Wildcats Suffer a Road Loss at Bryn Athyn 11-4.

BRYN ATHYN, PA. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats lost to Bryn Athyn on Sunday by a score of 11-4. The Lions owned every quarter of the game, allowing just one Wildcat goal in each quarter of play.

The game started with a 3-0 lead for the Lions before the Wildcats scored their first goal late in the quarter. The Lions go on a 6-0 run between the second and third quarter. The damage was done and the lead became too large for the Wildcats to overcome.

Joey Beyer (Long Beach, N.Y.) had the only multi-goal performance of the game for the Wildcats. He scored twice on two shots. Beyer also had a groundball in the game.

Tyler Heldt (Cicero, N.Y.) and Nicholas DeCrisci (Utica, N.Y.) scored the other two goals for the Wildcats. Heldt netted one of his two shots. DeCrisci netted one of three shots and had a groundball in the game.

Regan Seydler (Croghan, N.Y.) and Casey Hennessey (Voorheesville, N.Y.) had a team high two caused turnovers each. Hennessey also scooped up a groundball.

The Lions were led by a pair of three goal scorers; Nolan Frame and Ryan Landels. Landels also had a game high three caused turnovers.

 

The Wildcats are now 6-9 for the season (4-3 NEAC). The team will hit the road for their last game of the regular season against Keuka on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
