GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNY Poly men's lacrosse player Daniel Rivie (Ossining, N.Y.) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 28th - April 3rd. An excerpt from the NEAC press release can be found below. 

"Daniel Rivie (Ossining, N.Y.) has been selected as the NEAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after a strong outing for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats.  The freshman had a match-high five caused turnovers and added three ground balls to lead the defensive effort in the Wildcats' 18-5 conference victory over Medaille Saturday.  Rivie also assisted on a goal and won his lone faceoff attempt on the day.  Rivie has now scooped up the fifth-most ground balls (27) in the conference through nine games for the Wildcats."
