CENTERVILLE, Mass. – SUNYIT senior long-stick midfielder Brett Gifford (Cazenovia, N.Y. / Cazenovia) was honored with yet another award on Monday, as he was named to the ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Star Team.
Gifford, who has already picked up 1st Team All-Conference honors for the NEAC to go along with a pair of prestigious academic awards (he was one of three SUNYIT winners of the SUNY Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete Award, and was recently named a to the Capital One Academic All-District Team as well), was named to the ECAC 2nd Team after finishing in the top-five in the nation in caused turnovers-per-game.
