AURORA, N.Y. – With the score tied 2-2 and 9:07 remaining in the first half of Saturday's NEAC matchup between the visiting Wildcats (5-10, 4-2 NEAC) and the host team Wells Express (1-9, 0-4 NEAC), SUNYIT rattled off the next 5 goals on their way to a 14-6 road victory.
Kevin Gardrvits (Glen Cove, N.Y. / Glen Cove) led the Wildcats with 7 points on 4 goals and 3 assists, while fellow usual suspects Tyler Serva (Chenango Forks, N.Y. / Chenango Forks) and Brett Gifford (Cazenovia, N.Y. / Cazenovia) also chipped in, Serva with 5 goals and Gifford with 3 goals and 3 assists.
The Wildcats will be back at home for their final regular season home game a week from today. SUNYIT will celebrate Senior Day for the game, which is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm vs. the Hilbert Hawks.
