MBB: Wildcats Trounce Fighting Tigers 103-71 to Stay Undefeated in NAC-West Play. 

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats improved to 5-0 in North Atlantic Conference West Division play on Saturday with a 32 point win over Cobleskill 103-71. The Fighting Tigers had the lead for just 30 seconds of the game as the Wildcat offense put on a clinic shooting 59.7% from the field and 64.3% from the free-throw line. The Wildcats are now 12-6 this season. Cobleskill's record drops to 2-12.

 

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: 

  • Josh Gregory had a game-high 29 points in the game. He shot 75% from the field and hit five of the six three-pointers that he attempted. Gregory also had six rebounds, an assist, and a block in the game. 

  • Jesse O'Dell scored 12 points and shot 83% from the floor. He also had five rebounds and four assists. 

  • LJ Randle had 12 points, four rebounds, and a block for the Wildcats. 

  • Sion Nelson scored 12 points in 19 minutes off the bench for Poly. He also had a team-high three steals and pulled down five rebounds. 

  • Alan Rodriguez had a career-high eight assists for the Wildcats. 

  • Juwan Malone scored a team-high 23 points for the Fighting Tigers with three rebounds and a pair of blocks. 

  • Justin Feldman scored 13 for Cobleskill. 

  • Mekhi Woodbury had 10 points in 22 minutes off the bench for Cobleskill. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will travel to Hamilton College on Tuesday to play the Continentals in non-conference play. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM tip.
