OSWEGO, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's basketball team opened up their 2021-22 season on the road on Friday at Oswego State's Max Ziel Tournament against Hobart. The Wildcats lost the opener to the Hobart College Statesmen 65-48. The 'Cats will face the Elmira College Soaring Eagles on Saturday in the tournament's consolation game.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Josh Gregory had a solid performance for the Wildcats. He scored a game-high 21 points on 7-13 shooting. He also pulled down seven rebounds, had a pair of blocks, two assists, and two steals.

Jesse O'Dell had 10 points, five rebounds, three steals, a block, and an assist in the game.

Josh Ernst had nine points, three rebounds, a steal, and an assist.

Jackson Meshanic led the Statesman with 16 points on 7-12 shooting.

Aidan Rodgers had 14 points for Hobart.

Patrick Walker scored 11 points for the Statesmen.

The Wildcats will face Elmira College in the consolation game of the Max Ziel Tournament. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 PM tip-off at Oswego's Max Ziel Gymnasium.
