MORRISVILLE, NY- The SUNYIT Wildcats (2-11, 0-3 NEAC) struggled to catch a break in their hird NEAC contest against Morrisville College (7-4, 2-1 NEAC) on Wednesday, losing 101-71. With the loss SUNYIT fell to 0-3 in conference while Morrisville improved to 2-1.

T'Andre Richardson (Utica, N.Y. / Utica-Proctor) led the team in points with a total of 18 while Ryan James (Saratoga Springs, N.Y. / Saratoga Springs) closely followed with a total of 17 and went a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line. Alex Drake (Lansingville, NY / Lansingburgh) also racked up double-digits for total points scored as he walked away with 14 for the day. While SUNYIT had a few stand-out men, Morrisville's team seemed better-rounded as its contributions were spread among multiple players.

Overall, the Wildcats simply couldn't find the bottom of the net enough to keep up with the hot shooting Mustangs. SUNYIT finished the game shooting just 36% from the field, while Morrisville connected on 51% of its attempts. After a three-game road stint, the Wildcats will now look to turn things around on their home floor, beginning with conference foe Penn St.-Abington this Sunday, January 13th at 2:00pm.
