Men's Basketball Drops Conference Opener to Penn State-Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Wildcats Men's Basketball team played Penn State-Harrisburg on Saturday to kick off a two game in-conference road trip at Harrisburg and at Gallaudet.

 The Penn State Nittany Lions were the victors as they were able to outscore SUNYIT by a final score of 86-77. Junior Will Doyle played a good all around game for Penn State coming up just short of a triple-double with 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. 

For the Wildcats, T'Andre Richardson (Utica, N.Y. / Utica-Proctor) recorded his second double-double in a row, and his third on the season. Richardson went for 13 points and 11 rebounds. Desmian Greer (Washington Heights, NY / Chesire Acadamy) had a game high 21 points.

The win by Pen State brings their record to (6-8, 3-0 NEAC) and puts the Wildcats at (2-9, 0-1 NEAC) The Wildcats play game two of their two game road trip tomorrow at 2:00 pm at Gallaudet University.
