GOLF: Wildcats Wrap-up Day One at the NAC Championships.

CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team wrapped up the first day of the NAC Golf Championship at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club on Saturday. The Wildcats shot 369 as a team on day one of the two-day tournament, putting them in 9th place.

 

Noah Tyler from SUNY Delhi is the current leader after shooting a 72 (-2) in the opening round. SUNY Delhi is leading as a team by two strokes over Husson.

 

The Wildcats were led by Issac Falk. He shot an 82 (+10) to put him in a tie for 16th place. Ryan Till ended the day tied for 37th place after shooting a 92 (+20).

 

Nathan Sonnacchio (+22), Blake Pugh (+29), and Will Pruess (+37) rounded out the Wildcats scorers.

 

The conditions were not ideal for the first day of play. Rain delayed the start of the event to 12:00 PM.
