UTICA, N.Y. - Inclement weather and expected rain this weekend have forced the SUNY Poly baseball team to make some changes to their schedule for this week.

First, the game against Sage College scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed. The game was originally scheduled for a 4:00 PM first pitch at SUNY Poly's Peter A. Spina Field. Inclement weather over the last 48 hours in the Utica area made the field unplayable. A makeup date has not been announced at this time. '

Second, the Wildcats and Cazenovia have amended their schedule for the first three games of their season series. The games were originally scheduled for Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Those games will now be played on Thursday and Friday. Thursday's game will be a single 9-inning game, starting at 4:00 PM. Friday's game will be a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 PM. All three games will be played at SUNY Poly's Peter A. Spina Field.
